Jason Pincott Responsible Individual

Jason holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Social Work and has 26 years’ experience of working with children and families in various settings, which include residential (secure and non-secure) and front line Social Work teams. Jason currently divides his time between his role as an Operations Manager within a Local Authority, and being a Director and the Responsible Individual of Mutual Care.

Having managed Social Work teams since 2012 at Team Manager and Operations Manager level, Jason has the knowledge and experience to lead Mutual Care in delivering best outcomes for children and young people.  One of Jason’s core objectives is that all children should be afforded the same care and opportunities, regardless of whether they are in care or not. Jason’s mantra to all the people he works with is “would this be good enough for your child?”

Maria Dowell - Manager Rose Cottage

Marie has worked within residential children’s homes settings for the past 17 years, within the capacity of Registered Manager and as a Regulation 44 Independent Visitor.

Marie has completed a Level 4 NVQ Health and Social Care and level 4 NVQ Registered Manager’s Award and is currently working towards her Level 6 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care and Level 5 in Residential Child Care.

Lucy Vokes Photo

Lucy has been working with children and young people for the past 12 years across a range of settings including nurseries, children’s clubs, and residential children’s homes.

Lucy holds an advanced apprenticeship in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and a NVQ Level 5 award in Leadership and Management.

Since joining Mutual Care as a Residential support worker Lucy has taken advantage of the training  and mentoring opportunities which has given her to skills and confidence to progress to deputy manager which evidences Mutual Care’s “grow your own” culture.

Olly has worked directly with children for the last 6 years having experienced working with children with life limiting conditions and their siblings for the majority of that time. Olly also has a busy home with 5 children under his roof, which all come with different challenges.  Olly’s passion is to ensure that every child he works with feels at home with love and support.

Olly has been in management for 17 years and also is a level 4 qualified rugby coach and currently coaches  both men and women in many age groups from 7 years old to professional contracted adults. Olly joined mutual care as a bank staff member, moving to RSW and now deputy manager as he looks to grow his career within the company. Olly enjoys his job and feels well supported with good management support and investment in training.

Emma is a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with 15 years experience in clinical practice, both in the NHS and in the private sector. She specialises in work with children, young people and families, working with a broad range of difficulties.

Emma has particular expertise in working with attachment difficulties, the impact of early trauma and abuse, and complex professional networks.

Michelle is the company Administrator, based in the central office.  As the hub of the company, Michelle regularly communicates with Senior Management and staff in a broad range of tasks.  These include Training; Recruitment and HR.  She manages the company’s HR software and working alongside the Accountants and Senior Managers she coordinates Payroll.  Michelle regularly minutes meetings and updates the home’s official documents when needed.

Michelle’s confidence and knowledge has grown in the time she has been with the company and she is excited about her future with Mutual Care as the company expands.

Mia joined Mutual Care in August, having been a registered manager for the last 5 years. Mia has a wide range of experience of working with children in various settings, she has spent the last 6 years in the residential sector.

 Mia’s passion is to ensure all children in care are afforded the same opportunities as children who aren’t in care and that no child is discriminated against. 

Mia holds a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in residential care.
